Royal Netherlands     Air Force Open Days ◄ back to start A STEMME S15 surveillance aircraft was part of the “Luftmachtdagen 2011” at Leeuwarden Air Base. During one weekend the Royal Netherlands Air Force presented itself and some guests to the public, showing lots of jet aircraft, helicopters and, not at least, the S15. Leeuwarden, home of RNAF’s F-16 jet-fighters, welcomes lots of aviation minded visitors marveling at the static display and a great flight show.  The S15 shown is owned by “AEC Air Support” from The Netherlands. AEC is specialized in supporting private and government organizations. The S15 is the latest addition to AEC’s aircraft fleet. Engine run up  AEC’s surveillance aircraft runs up its engine prior a test-flight. The S15 carries a camera gimbal and a Radar-pod as external payload.
