Royal Netherlands
Air Force Open Days
◄ back to start
A STEMME S15 surveillance aircraft was part of the
“Luftmachtdagen 2011” at Leeuwarden Air Base. During one
weekend the Royal Netherlands Air Force presented itself and
some guests to the public, showing lots of jet aircraft,
helicopters and, not at least, the S15.
Leeuwarden, home of RNAF’s F-16 jet-fighters, welcomes lots
of aviation minded visitors marveling at the static display and a
great flight show.
The S15 shown is owned by “AEC Air Support” from The
Netherlands. AEC is specialized in supporting private and
government organizations. The S15 is the latest addition to
AEC’s aircraft fleet.
Engine run up
AEC’s surveillance aircraft runs up its engine
prior a test-flight. The S15 carries a camera
