A desing approach unique in aviation Both STEMME aircraft series, the S10 and S15 feature a modular structure. The engine is housed in the mid-fuselage behind the cockpit in a steel-tube frame-work. This module carries the loads of the main gear, wings, cockpit- and tail- module. The propeller in front of the two-seat side-by-side cockpit is driven via a carbon longshaft. The combination of engine in the center of gravity and  front propeller enables a very stable and agile flight and best aerodynamic layout. Effective through outstanding aerodynamics All aircraft modules are made from carbon composites. This clean surface in combination with an aerodynamic layout like a soaring aircraft gives an outstanding performance and endurance. Payloads can be carried external under the middle-wing section or internally in the fuselage. Easy transport The wings of STEMME aircraft are composed from a middle- wing and two outer-wing sections.
