The aircraft is operated with a pilot for special tasks, deployment, training and check flights after maintenance or in unmanned mode for routine missions or dangerous operations. When fitted with the dual mode® system, the S15 is a single seat aircraft. Power plant Turbo charged ROTAX 914 F (115 hp) engine with high altitude electric booster, four cylinder, double ignition and double carburetors. Computerized monitoring and check system, temperature control of oil and liquid cooling circuit. Three-blade constant speed Muehlbauer propeller with electronic RPM-control for maximum thrust over the whole range of operation. Modular structure The aircraft is build from modules, separately certified, which can be modified to carry sensors or equipment.
